Logline:

​A young boy has an expectation that he is safe in his family but he comes out as gay and suffers homophobia at every possible level and for many years, until the love of his life calms his hurt.​

 

Synopsis:

A feature screenplay based on the book written by Richie Barlow entitled 'Richie, Who Cares'. This story is powerful and gruelling and yet inspirational for all those who face abuses of all kinds, especially as children.

Deprived of love of any kind as a child and doubtful of ever finding an antidote to the poison his mother had placed in him, this boy/man strives to survive against all the odds. With his humanity intact, he reaches a place of love, peace and abundance.
